| I am a single parent with 27 years of mothering behind me and currently raising 3 children, ages 9, 10 and 17. My youngest is my great-nephew who I took in as a foster parent at the age of 8 mos. and adopted by the time he was 4 years old. My next youngest is my brothers daughter, I took her in at the age of two years and gained legal guardianship when she was 6 years old. My oldest is my sister's daughter and she came to live with me about 7 years ago. I feel truly blessed that God has given me these wonderful children to raise and care for. I believe He has also helped me to see my true calling in life is with children. Doing childcare in my home allows me to be there for my children and still make a living. It also gives me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the children I care for. I feel we provide quality care in a loving and happy enviroment. |
